I am President and co-founder of Furgiven Animal Sanctuary. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, and I’m so happy to finally be able to realize my life-long dream of opening a dog sanctuary. I believe that every dog deserves to be able to live a happy life filled with love, regardless of disability or circumstances. It’s impossible for me to choose just one favorite breed. They are all lovable in their own unique way!

I’m the Director and co-founder of Furgiven Animal Sanctuary, which we founded in March, 2021 and officially opened in August, 2021. I’ve worked in rescue since 2018. Working with homeless pets has become one of my biggest passions in life. The ability to offer a second, second chance to them is indescribable. I would say that my favorite breed is Chihuahuas because they’re small but mighty, but I love all breeds!

I’ve been working with Furgiven Animal Sanctuary since April of 2022, mostly on the admin side of things and fundraising. I mostly do work to organize fund-raising events and programs to raise money to help enable Furgiven to continue to do all the incredible things that’s done on a daily basis. I love being able to help people discover what kind of love and privilege it is to have a rescue animal in the family!

I’m the Kennel Manager at Furgiven Animal Sanctuary and I’ve been with Furgiven since October 2021 but have worked in animal rescue since 2012. The journey has been full of ups and downs but helping facilitate a happy adoption is the thing that keeps me going! My favorite breed would have to be a good ol’ pit bull. You get the most athletic, playful couch potato all in one dog, and I adore it.

I’m the part-time Kennel Tech for Furgiven Animal Sanctuary, and I’ve been with Furgiven since September of 2022. I love that I’m helping to enrich the lives of animals that are overlooked, and giving them the best second chance for their “furever” home! I love all my babies at home and at Furgiven. Animals have a way of reaching in and speaking directly to my soul, without words, in a way that humans can’t.
